Appeal of Korea University students against exclusion from the “Emergency Student Support Handout for Continuing Studies” (ESSHCS)

：In May 2020, the Japanese government came up with the ESSHCS program for students impoverished by the COVID-19 pandemic. The students

of Korea University were excluded from the program.

On February 19, a joint allegation letter by the Special Rapporteurs of the United Nations Human Rights Council was sent to the government of Japan expressing strong concern about the fact that Korea University students are not eligible for the ESSHCS program. The Japanese government, however, responded by answering that it was not discrimination. 

Students of Korea University appeal to the United Nations, to the world, and to the Japanese government.

 

《배움의 계속을 위한 학생지원긴급급부금》대상부터의 제외를 반대하는 조선대학교 학생들의 호소

：신형코로나비루스감염확대로 인하여 곤궁에 빠져있는 학생들에게 지난해 5월 일본정부가 창설한 《배움의 계속을 위한 학생지원긴급급부금》. 조선대학교 학생들은 그 대상에서 제외되여있다.

올해 2월 19일 유엔인권리사회의 특별보고자 4명이 일본정부에게 공동서한을 송부하여 조선대학교의 학생들을 급부금의 대상외로 한것은 차별에 해당된다는 강한 우려를 표명하였다. 하지만 일본정부는 민족차별이 아니다고 반론하고있다.

조선대학교 학생들이 유엔을 향하여, 세계를 향하여, 그리고 일본정부를 향하여 호소한다.

 

「学びの継続のための学生支援緊急給付金」からの除外に反対する朝鮮大学校学生のアピール

：コロナ禍により困窮する学生に向けて昨年5月、日本政府が打ち出した「学びの継続のための学生支援緊急給付金」。朝鮮大学校の学生はその対象から外された。

今年2月19日、国連人権理事会の特別報告者4名が日本政府に対して共同書簡を送付し、朝鮮大学校の学生を給付金の対象外としたのは、差別に該当すると強い懸念を表明した。しかし、日本政府は、民族差別にはあたらないと反論している。

朝鮮大学校の学生が、国連に向けて、世界に向けて、そして日本政府に向けて訴えます。
